The full tour
The homepage gives you the pitch. This is the whole machine — the nation, the sports, the seasons, the press box, the money, and the ending — block by block, in the order a career unfolds.
01 · The story
Nordvalia is a young mountain confederation — thirty multilingual cities, a federal seat at Nordhal-sur-Glace — arriving on the world stage with everything to prove. The Frost Games are its debut. As its first National Winter Sports Coordinator, you write the arc: unknown to contender, contender to legend, across ten editions. What Nordvalia becomes is the question the whole game keeps asking.

02 · Founding
Before your first season, two choices echo for a career: a government — Republic, Kingdom, Federation, Principality, or Free State, each with its own ceremonial name and narrative voice — and a heritage: Alpine, Nordic, or Underdog. Build your flag. Choose your anthem. It's identity, never difficulty: the same first cycle plays five different ways in voice, not in odds.

03 · The job
You're the coordinator, not the athlete. Scouting, training, budgets, squad selection, race-day setup — your decisions decide the results, and you watch them land through pixel-art highlights and a two-commentator booth. Sessions are 60–90 seconds of real decisions, and the app reopens exactly where you left it, every time. The depth accumulates across sessions, the way a season does.

04 · The programme
All 16 winter disciplines, 163 events, each resolved by an engine authentic to its sport: timed races, judged runs for figure skating and freestyle, pack racing for short track, scored distance for ski jumping, two-leg Gundersen for nordic combined, brackets for hockey and curling, four-leg relays where the exchange matters. Deep rosters beat one-star nations — the sim rewards the program you actually built.

05 · Mini-games
Every event resolves your way: take the Quick Result, watch the highlights, or play the sport's skill mini-game. Ten of them, each shaped by its discipline — Steady the Reticle in the biathlon range, Carve the Gates on the slalom, Line & Weight on curling ice, Push Start, The Overtake, Snowboard Big Air. The skill delta is small and bounded, so your hands can help the sim — but never break it.

06 · The season
A career is a chain of annual cycles, and each has a rhythm: fund and expand the program, scout and train, sign sponsors, survive national qualifiers — then race a full World Cup season chasing the Crystal Globe, into the World Championships, squad selection, and the Games themselves. The Calendar tab is the living surface: standings pinned on top, one tap to skip to Nordvalia's next moment.

07 · The Games
The centerpiece of every cycle: Nordvalia's own winter games, played as ten atomic, resumable days rather than one long sitting. Contest medals across the full programme while the medal table builds live — the sim runs every sport whether you enter it or not. Opening, medal, and closing ceremonies play with your nation's anthem. Opt-in, like everything else.

08 · Athletes
Scouting returns letter-grade reports on foundation and upside; training turns prospects into podium threats. Every athlete carries a card — portrait, hometown, form sparkline, signature traits, a career timeline. And when something historic happens — a fifth career gold, a broken national record, a first-ever — Heroes' Moments flags it the day it occurs, so the career writes its own highlight reel.

09 · The press
Nordvalia's four papers — the Northern Herald, the Free Voice, Pivot, and the Almheim Gazette — cover every result with four distinct political voices, delivered to your inbox. Make news and a paper calls a press conference: read the room, pick your tone, shape tomorrow's coverage. Snub an in-form athlete at squad selection and the Free Voice will want to know why.

10 · Rivals
Dominate a discipline and the world adapts: rival federations hire legendary coaches, sign your retired stars, invest in youth. And the nation nearest you in the medal table becomes your nemesis — a named rival coordinator with a personality, a head-to-head record, and opinions. Taunts when their athletes beat yours. Grudging respect when yours win.

11 · The federation
Prize money flows from every podium; grants scale with prestige. Negotiate sponsors in the Boardroom, playing leverage tokens to push a Bronze offer toward Gold. Allocate the federal grant, take a loan if you dare, upgrade equipment tiers — then lay out the Federation Grounds themselves: a honeycomb map of 18+ building types where clustering unlocks real synergy bonuses. Your nation's physical home is a lever.

12 · The ending
Ten cycles from rookie to retirement. Climb prestige tiers to grow from six sports toward all sixteen, bid to host the Games on home snow, and walk away with a Career Rating — a 0–1000 score and a D-to-S grade built from medals, Crystal Globes, records, and the stars you raised. Every career enters the Hall of Coordinators. Then New Game+ asks the only question left: can you beat yourself?
